Ever wondered what it might be like to take performance-enhancing drugs? Andrew Tilin did. Knowing that many riders in the Northern California Masters racing scene were taking anything from EPO through HGH to synthetic testosterone but unable to get anyone to go on record about the effects (and side effects), he decided to find out for himself and document the result.

Andrew will be reading from his book and hosting a Q&A session at MontanoVelo. Entrance is free.

Saturday June 5th, 5:30 – 8:30 pm

I joined a ride down the coast from San Francisco to Santa Cruz this weekend to go camping. Couldn’t have asked for better weather! We capped it off with a visit to Paul Sadoff/Rock Lobster’s shop. Like most frame builder’s shops I’ve had the fortune to visit, it’s a feast for the eyes. Big props to Travis at Freight Baggage for managing to get me a new bag for my front rack right before the trip, it worked out great!
