It’s been a sad week for sure and while we try pretty hard to keep all of our posts bike related, this week’s events could not go unmentioned. Lots of things and people have passed on quite recently. Of note: Farah Fawcett; Ed McMahon; Michael Jackson; Iz the Wiz; and even Kodachrome film.
Rest in Peace
The last three, MJ, IZ and Kodachrome have touched a nerve for the authors here at CZ and we are quite broken up at this three-fold loss of culture. You will all be missed for sure.
I went for a long walk along the water front yesterday and run into this rather refreshing randoneur out fit with a full on panneirs and rag full of flower.. There are quite a number of cute shops and restaurants sprout up around ferry terminals and Port of San Francisco building. I really like it..a boring work lunch can be cure with a good walk around the water, i think… have a good weekend and I will post more news pictures of the Hanx race later this afternoon….
Good morning everyone. It’s rain out, then it’s sunny, who gives a shit… the energy is there.
And a bit of news I read from MASH blog this morning, Dustin and Eli,from Cadence Clothing had relocated back to San Frandisco….. good looking clothing for biking…. i like… link here; http://www.cadenceclothing.net/
We went over to Mama Art Cafe this afternoon to hear Marco, a quest guitarist, playing bossanova, with Suzanne Cortez and Friend Jazz band. What a great experience, thanks Veronica!!.. This great cafe located outer mission district, on the 4000 block of Mission Street. They regularly have live band playing. It was nice to see local families gathering and dancing. Great selection of fair trade coffee, tea and spices. Their website has schedules of different cultural program and art show. Check them out… here are some pics I took…..
My name is William and I will be regularly updating this blog with various pictures I take everyday that are bicycle related.
I love bikes. In short, I’m a cyclist. I geek out over all kinds of bikes, wrench on bikes and of course I ride bikes. I tend to get a little more creative with the bikes I build up myself, so I hope you enjoy the photos you see here. You can also see more of my photos on my Flickr .
