Now I know what CycleZine Sean had been up to these days….at first I thought he changed his hobby to trainspotting, but nope…He’s been working on a new fresh off the paint booth baby blue Bridgestone.. I will let Sean give more details when we get a nice detailed photo shoot. For now, a few quick snaps of a classy bike that can be seen in the Mission…. I like that TA bag man… !!!

October 1 - Art Opening, Cafe Royale @ Post St.
HELLO!
If you are free tonight we’d love to see you at this art opening. Cafe Royale is a nice little wine and beer bar with a great pool table and neat old tiled floors, and they’ve offered their walls to our good friends at The Loin.

So last week my lady emailed me asking me to help out with her outfit for a bike trip that we are planning. I felt flattered and special for a split second, but I went blanked. Acidwashed short short, Endless Summer tank top and Vans from Forever 21??.. ha.. bad answer…. Pearl Izumi spandex and clipless cycling shoes from LBS?? shit another bad answer..
I dunno really, but I want her to look good while riding either Dutch townie or Flashy Italian steel bike equipped with high end Campagnolo Super Record… DAM that’s a very hard answer I tell you, really.

The Bread & Butter Tradeshow for Selected Brands, an urban fashion week of sorts, is heading back to its hometown for this year’s events. Cyclezine friend and darling, Lily poses for the IAM1 Journey flier that will exhibit the history of the AF-1. If by some chance you’re ‘in the neighborhood’ (halfway around the world), drop by and say ‘Hallo’ <-german joke.

Zo's Jack Taylor Curvy Low Profile
Zo made it out to Mike’s Breakers to Bay race this Sunday on his curvy ST Jack Taylor low profile Time Trial bike (whew, mouthful). This is an odd, but interesting frame. A bit ironic as well. Like and old man dressed like “Bad” era Michael Jackson. It’s weird for me to see the hand painted Taylor logo, box lining and all the classic British elements on the 80’s craze known as LoPro. Don’t get me wrong, I would own it in a second because it’s pretty damn unique. Thus worth sharing.

Entering through the doorway from the street is like walking into a doubly-sweet candy store: skateboards on the left side, and bike-stuff on the right. Pushbike shop has finally opened right on 24th Street, sharing floorspace with Mission Skateboards.
