Oh hi… It’s Bangkok Vintage Bicycle Show going on this Sunday at Silpakorn University Bangkok. The event will be a meet up and bike show of Bangkok vintage bike enthusiasts.
Here is the rough program …
Group ride start at University ground at 7:30 am and will stop at several different attraction spots. End at the University.
Bike show at 11am and the event ill go on until the sun go down… meet, talk, and geek out about bikes…. we will be there scoping out the scene.
2010 had been an awesome year to all of us here at Cyclezine.net . We want to thanks our readers that subscribed to our site. 2010 Rules & Categories
The 5th Annual Supermarket Street Sweep is right around the corner! Here are this year’s rules & categories:
CARGO: The Cargo categories will be for Male/Female.
Bring back the required food from the stores listed on the manifest. The heaviest load wins first place, so bring back additional food to increase your chances of winning the category. Additional food does not have to be purchased at the stores listed on the manifest. Racers must be at the finish line by 4pm to qualify. Anyone arriving at the finish line after 4pm will be disqualified. Receipts must be presented to prove that you visited all of the required checkpoints and purchased the required goods.

If the term L’Eroica is new to you this is how it’s described by the organizers, “L’EROICA” is a period cyclotouristic rally held mainly on gravel roads, organized since 1997. It is a special “race” from every point of view. It proposes surroundings and scenes from the “heroic” times of cycling: dust or mud, no organized service, vintage refreshments, wonderful and demanding roads, great ability to adapt and to suffer. We search for the authentic roots of the awesome popularity of that cycling world made by the giants of the roads, which created so much literary legends.”

Tuscan countryside, Italian steel bike, cobble stone road, and classic Alfa Romeo. So awesome, classic and romantic… AND what would be better than rollin up to 200 km race finish line with a bottle of wine and olive oil…. GREAT and Thanks… L’Eroica
