May 31st 1868. Dr. James Moore of the United Kingdom wins the first ever recorded bicycle race In Parc de St. Cloud, Paris. Coincidentally, this day in history also marks the first episode of NBC’s Seinfeld in 1990. What do these two have in common, probably nothing. However, I’m sure some crazed Seinfeld fan will correct me with some obscure Seinfelidan quote about bicycles.
