Contre La Montre

I recently stumbled upon the Classic Time Trial Flickr group. Though many see them as just another type of bicycle racing apart from the main event, but I think the “race of truth” definition of time trial races is what intrigues me most. You’re not racing against anyone but yourself. No team work, support, no racing tactic, but your own self to achieve the fastest time.
You can race time trial with any bike. Pro time trial events can be on the road course or velodrome circuit.
The innovation and aerodynamic study to achieve the maximum reduction of drag resistance gave us a back-hurting looking bicycle, as well as the disk-wheel, but what beautiful looking machines.
